Regular ceilidh classes on Wednesdays 18:30 – 20:00
We meet at two different venues in the villages of Ladock and Grampound Road on Wednesday evenings. Despite appearances for September and October it isn’t actually a regular pattern, so do check location each week. Here is our autumn schedule of locations:
- 3rd September (Grampound Road)
- 10th September (Ladock)
- 17th September (Grampound Road)
- 24th September (Ladock)
- 1st October (Grampound Road)
- 8th October (Ladock)
- 15th October (Grampound Road)
- 22nd October (Ladock)
- 29th October (Ladock – see, not always alternative weeks!)
How to find us
Ladock Community Hall
Ladock, Truro TR2 4PG. A large car park is located beside the hall.

Grampound Road Village Hall (Sir Robert Harvey Memorial Hall)
South St, Grampound Road, Truro. There is a car park beside the hall and we have been told that the school car park can be used for overflow parking if required – it can get busy in the hall car park so if you can park a bit farther away and walk back to the hall that can be a great help for less mobile hall users who play cards at the same time as we dance.

Other practical information
Arrival time: The class runs from 18:30 – 20:00. If you plan to pay at the class on the night (cash or card is fine) please try to arrive 5 minutes early so that we can aim to be dancing as soon as possible. Booking online is always the speediest method of payment and secures your space ahead of the class if it is busy.
Shoes: If your shoes are likely to be very wet and muddy in this weather it could be good to bring some alternative shoes to dance in. The best sort of shoes are flat, or fairly flat, and comfy.
Clothes: Wear anything that is comfortable for you. Layers are useful in case you are chilly to start and heat up when dancing.
What else to bring: A water bottle is a good idea. You will be able to refill it in the kitchen next to the hall we are dancing in.
