What we offer

Friendly, inclusive, imaginative, and highly adaptable, joyful dance events, based around toe-tapping music and dances that everyone can learn to do.

Dance classes

We hold regular ceilidh classes in Penryn, St Erth, Carharrack, Ladock and Grampound Road. Do feel most welcome to join us.

If you have an appetite for classes in your area please do get in touch and we can explore the possibilities.

Wedding dance lessons

Having a ceilidh at your wedding but nervous that you, your partner (and maybe the wedding party too) don’t know how to ceilidh? We can get rid of those pre-dancefloor nerves for you, with personalised wedding dance lessons, so that you can focus on having fun on your special day.

Workshops

Would you like a workshop session designed especially for your group?

A birthday event? A hen or stag party? A family get-together? A community festival event? WRI? Guides? Just a fun afternoon with friends? Learn dances or even have a ball making up your own.

Team building

Ceilidh requires cooperation, problem solving, working as a team, looking after everyone, laughing and having fun together. A perfect team-building activity.

Public ceilidhs

Our next public ceilidhs are with The Brim Ceilidh Band at North Hill Village Hall on 20th September and Devoran Village Hall on 10th October 2025. More information here.

Wedding and party ceilidhs

Ceilidhs are fantastic for celebrations, parties and weddings. Everyone can get involved, and you don’t need to feel self-conscious about dancing because there are set steps and the caller will tell you what to do. Music is upbeat and cheery.

Kate can call to recorded music, but even better can call with various excellent local ceilidh bands for dancing to live music, or recommend other ceilidh, nos lowen or barn dance bands if they are not available.

Freelance caller

Kate has built up experience calling with multiple bands and as a freelance caller if you are need of someone to explain the dances for you. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss.
